Paris apartment chic magazine table

Black and white oozes charm!!

Another project I finished, was this vintage magazine storage table - This is a flea market find and I knew I could do something special with it for re-sale!

As you can see she was very plain Jane, but just look at her lovely curves; I had to snap her up and bring her home with me !

The adorable frame is from Lauren's Etsy shop MyWonderfullyMade !

More to see....

I've been wanting to try the graphic image in white, so I decided to go with black colour!
First I gave her a few licks of white paint for contrast, followed by this jet black colour!

I found the French signage and the scroll at The Graphics Fairy and the birds on a branch image at Knick of Time !

I used the lead pencil method to trace the outlines of the images onto the surfaces. I then used a white paint pen to get the effect I wanted ! To finish her off I lightly distressed her to let the white peak through and a clear coat to protect her new look!

I hope I find a good home for her !

I am linking up with The Graphics Fairy Brag Monday !

It's Memorial Day weekend here so on top of cleaning the house (ugg!) I've been busy working on projects -- so nice to have the extra day this weekend to do that!

  6. Very, very lovely and different (done in black with white lettering etc). I love it. Did you trace it with the lightest tracing (Saral) paper? Have to try this!
